SHILAP Revista de lepidopterología is an international journal which has been published by the Sociedad Hispano-Luso-Americana de Lepidopterología since 1973 and uses the persistent digital identifier by ORCID® (https://orcid.org) as a way to ensure proper authorship normalization. It includes empirical and theoretical research on all aspects of Lepidopterology (Systematics, Taxonomy, Phylogeny, Morphology, Bionomics, Ecology, Faunistics and Zoogeography, as well as bibliographical papers, those on the history of Lepidopterology, or book reviews on the topics mentioned) from all over the world with special emphasis on the study of Conservation Biology. Each volume consists of four issues a year (one volume per annum) in March, June, September and December.
